Dr. Bill Weeks Outside the Office

Dr. Bill Weeks has achieved a lot not only in the academic and professional world but also at home in Lyme and outside of the office. He has six children to whom he is devoted. He has lived in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire for thirty years, deeply involving himself in the community as chair of the local school board and in many other ways. Despite his professional success, he still considers himself a little boy who thrives in Lyme, New Hampshire at heart.

After spending years studying for his Ph.D. in France, Dr. Bill Weeks’ love of architecture and art intensified. He especially appreciates impressionist and post-impressionist art and artists such as Berthe Morisot. The landscape and environment of Lyme provide him with the ideal setting to pursue his interests in the cross country and downhill skiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and rowing. He also enjoys writing, reading, and taking part in other recreational activities.
